TV Party: Week 3, FINALLY SOME ACTUAL FOOTBALL GAMES!

THE I SHOULD PROBABLY JUST HAVE SLEPT IN GAME
UAB @ Tennessee on MyATL TV, 12:30pm

really, i'll probably only kinda watch this game and instead i may even go to the grocery store and stock up on gameday supplies in lieu of this matchup between the Blazers and the Vols. UAB has zero shot in this game after Tennessee let one get away 2 weeks ago in LA. i'd be surprised if this game wasn't over by the 2nd quarter and Tennessee didn't hang 60+ on UAB.

THEY STILL SHOW ACC GAMES ON TELEVISION?
Georgia Tech @ Viginia Tech on ABC, 3:30 pm

the Paul Johnson rushing attack gets it's first test against Beamer Ball. likely this will be one of those 10 to 7 barn burners that might cause me to take a nap, especially if i've already had too many beers to drink. i'm picking the Yellow Jackets to hand VA Tech their second loss of the season and then sneak their way into the top 25, you'll start hearing rumblings that GA Tech is the darkhorse to win the ACC and then they'll go out and lose to Maryland or NC State or whatever other shitty team they are playing in a couple of weeks and all talk will stop.

THE OLD BALL COACH MUST CONTINUE TO PAY FOR HIS SINS GAME
Georgia @ South Carolina on CBS, 3:35 pm

Knowshon and them boys head up to play the 'Cocks in Columbia. Spurrier is a voodoo wizard who has owned the Dawgs most of his career. South Carolina upset Georgia last year in Athens and i'm sure that will be played up a lot going into this game. don't buy into it though, Georgia is way to fucking talented to lose to South Carolina. i don't see this one being a blowout, but i'd be willing to bet Georgia will try their best to put up a big number as revenge for last season and as a message to AP Voters.

THE WHO IS CLOSER TO IRRELEVANCE? BOWL
Michigan @ Notre Dame on NBC, 3:45 pm

can you ever in your life remember a matchup between Notre Dame and Michigan where they both seemed so much an after thought on the national scene? granted last year both of these teams were winless, but Michigan still ended up turning their season around and making a bowl game. i could honestly see both of these schools only winning 5 games each and not going to bowl games. i'll go with the Irish here, only because Michigan looks SOOOOOOOOOOO bad on offense. granted it took a late fumble and a game winning drive for the Irish to beat a terrible San Diego State team, but still they should be able to outscore Michigan. my prediction a late safety as the long snapper sends the ball over the Michigan punter's head and out of the endzone giving the Irish a 2 to 0 lead and icing the slugfest of shittiness.

WAR EAGLE IN THE TEMPLE OF CROOM
Auburn @ Mississippi State on ESPN2, 7 pm

Auburn takes on the Bulldogs of Miss State in a grudge match after choking on a big fat dick at home last season. Darth Croom and his boys would love nothing more than to pull another rabbit out of their ass against my Tigers, but Auburn's defense and ground game (hopefully minus the fumbles) should be able to keep them on the victorious side. hopefully there's no looking ahead to the HUGE match up with LSU next week.

THE GAME OF THE CENTURY OF THE YEAR
Ohio State @ Southern Cal on ABC, 8pm

Beware of the overhyped game of the century matchups. rarely do they pan out. with any luck the 8 thousand five star recruits of Pete Carroll will roll over the choking ass Buckeyes and this game will be over by half time and we can all go out to the bar and save ourselves the trouble of sitting through this. Win Forever!
