i just read this excellent article on ESPN.com about plate discipline that compares and contrasts Chipper Jones and Jeff Francoeur of the Atlanta Braves and why one of them is awesome (Chipper) and the other is a waste of talent (Jeff) that is maybe/finally/but probably is not turning it around as a hitter.
