The Final Nail In The Coffin Of The Season Of Death

who knew that the joking nickname for the 2008 Auburn football season, The Season of Death, would end up being so fitting. because it's official, Auburn football is dead....for the foreseeable future anyways.

2008 was the end of the Tuberville era and also more than likely the end of Auburn being an SEC challenger of any kind. whoever was going to get hired had a rebuilding project to undertake, why Jay Jacobs decided it was a good idea to pick a guy who lost 10 games in a row in the Big 12 was the best person to undertake that challenge while also having to compete with Nick Saban for players is anyone's guess. my buest guess would be that Jacobs is a demon sent from 7th layer of Hell whose goal is to cause Auburn football fans to commit mass suicide. either that or he's just a fucking idiot.

they said, "no thanks" to Mike Leach and were afraid to take Tuner Gill. if you don't think that it was about race then you are being naive. hell at this point Houston Nutt and Spurrier don't sound that bad. and even though it would make me feel dirty i'd rather have Bobby Fucking Petrino.

5-19. wrap your fucking brain around that shit. WE ARE NEVER WINNING AN SEC TITLE ANYTIME IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS. Mississippi State made a better fucking hire than us. my 30s are gonna be awesome!!!!!

spin it anyway you want, but Auburn is a fucking joke right now. and i'm not laughing.

for everyone who wanted Tuberville gone, i hope you're fucking happy.

for everyone who thought Mike Leach would get "eaten alive" in the SEC...well you're just a stupid redneck anyways.

whatever, this just became an Atlanta Falcons blog.
