Ranking The Top 10 Bowl Matchups I Will Actually Want to Watch

1. Auburn vs. Oregon in the BCS Championship

duh. Auburn all the way.

2. Arkansas vs. Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl

i have a feeling that if Ohio State is EVER gonna beat an SEC team then this is their best chance yet. if the Hawgs win then i fully expect Petrino to weasel his way out of Arkansas and onto a bigger stage (assuming Miami hasn't hired a coach yet).

my early lean is on the Buckeyes.

3. Alabama vs. Michigan State in the Capital One Bowl

Saban vs one of his old teams, Michigan State. 1 team that started the year thinking they were a lock to repeat as champs vs. the most surprising 1 loss team in the country that will have a huge chip on it's shoulder after getting left out of the BCS. this is the best non-BCS matchup of all.

if Bama's players are actually focused and not thinking about their draft stock then i think the Tide takes care of business.

4. LSU vs. Texas A&M in the Cotton Bowl

the hottest team in the Big 12 vs. LSU in the Jerry Dome. this could be a preview of a future SEC rivalry game whenever the hell the Big 12 minus 2 finally dies and A&M jumps into the South Eastern Conference.

i think A&M could knock off LSU, but why would you ever pick against Les Miles?

5. Boise State vs. Utah in the Las Vegas Bowl

this is a matchup i've wanted to see for the last few years. the two most successful non-BCS schools of the BCS era vs. one another to let us know who is the best upstart program in the land. this game comes a few years too late for me, especially since Utah is now off the big leagues as a member of the Pac 12 and Boise State is stepping in to take the Ute's place as the Mountain West's top dog.

Boise is the better team and will probably want to send a message to the country with an epic beatdown.

6. South Carolina vs. FSU in the Chick-Fila bowl

Ol' Ball Coach vs. his old rival FSU! sure, Bobby isn't on the sidelines anymore...but it's hard not to imagine that Spurrier doesn't wanna put a whooping on FSU anyways. old hates die hard.

7. Georgia Tech vs. Air Force in the Independence Bowl

for 80s fans this is the game for you! who isn't pumped about a matchup of the two best option attack teams in the country?! the over/under for total passes thrown in this game is probably around 13. this game will be about 1 hour long and full of option madness. i can't fucking wait! Tech all the way.

8. Mississippi State vs. Michigan in the Gator Bowl

this game intrigues me because i'm not sure if either team's headcoach will even be coaching in this game. assuming RichRod isn't fired and Dan Mullen doesn't bolt for Miami then we could see a really great showdown. i'm interested how Denard Robinson can do vs. a SEC defense. my thought is pretty damn well. i'm leaning with Michigan here even though i know they won't be able to stop Mississippi State from scoring at will. i think Robinson has a big day and gets his Heisman candidacy for next year cranked up.

(a random thought) what if RichRod does get fired and Michigan is able to hire Jim Harbaugh from Stanford? will Denard stick around and try and play in a pro style offense or will he transfer and sit out a year. if he does transfer i would hope the coaches at some school called Auburn would like to show him a reel of Cam Newton's Heisman material.

9. The Rose Bowl and Orange Bowl

i have basically the same feeling about both of these games. i will watch them, but these aren't matchups i want to see. i really would rather see Stanford vs. Wisconsin and Va Tech vs TCU. i think both of those would be better more competitive matchups, instead i'm expecting blowouts by both Wisconsin and Stanford.

10. Notre Dame vs. Miami in the Sun Bowl

not really a very compelling match up but still i was such a big fan of this rivalry when i was a kid and always rooted for the U to take out the Irish. i will be watching out of nostalgia's sake.

Do Not Fuck With Boise

so much for TCU being more deserving of a shot at Alabama than Texas.

Boise State owns the fucking Fiesta Bowl and it owns your Mountain West and Pac 10 champs as well. any doubt in your mind that they'd beat Cincinnati or Ga Tech too if they got a shot at either of them? i think Florida will likely end the season ranked number 2, but if Boise isn't number 3 then it's a bunch of bullshit. way to go Smurfs!

so a quick question: who is the non-BCS school of the decade, Boise State or Utah? my vote is for the Smurfs.

Weirdest Bowl Game Ever or Weirdest Bowl Game Possible?

OMFG! That was about the shittiest great game I'm ever seen. It's hard to be happy about that win with the way Auburn tried to lose it in 100 ways. Again, those Big 12 refs and Big 10 homer announcers can eat a bag of dicks.

2010, way to try and give me a heart attack on day 1.

Big 10 Homer Douchebags. reason #4 that i hate ESPN

Could these announcers be openly rooting harder for Northwestern to beat Auburn? I feel like this game might as well be on the Big 10 Network.

Also Auburn's habit of laying down and letting nerd schools hang around with them (and losing those games) is beyond infuriating.

I just want this season to finish up and 2010 to start.

Let's Go Outback Tonight

Auburn to the Outback bowl!?! the next time i see Kevin Barnes in Athens i might just highfive him and scream War Eagle! into his face.

people (and by this i mean other angry SEC fans) will bitch about Auburn getting this bid, but it makes sense to me. A rabid fanbase desperate for a relevant bowl game and a logjam of 7-5 mediocrity in the SEC...i'd say Auburn fans should pack out that silly stadium with a pirate ship down in Tampa. Also having the 3rd best offense in the league probably didn't hurt either. Auburn is a lot more entertaining to watch than the Vols, Cocks, Dawgs, or Cats.

suck it Tennessee, South Carolina, Georgia, Kentucky, Arkansas.

Likely opponent in the Outback: Wisconsin (boring) or possibly Northwestern (could be a shoot out with them)

So yeah, a better bowl than we probably deserve and than any of us thought we'd get. But still a New Year's matchup in Orlando to show off the Spread Eagle 2 vs a Big 10 opponent.

Predicting the BCS Bowls

if we've learned anything from the few years i've been doing this blog, it's that i don't know what the fuck i am ever talking about...and yet i LOVE to try and make predictions (who doesn't?) and so here comes another round and shit that will be completely wrong: what i think the matchups are gonna be for the BCS Bowl games.

BCS Title Game

Florida vs. Texas

Sugar Bowl

Alabama vs. TCU

Rose Bowl

Oregon vs. Ohio State

Fiesta Bowl

Boise State vs. USC

Orange Bowl

Georgia Tech vs. Cincinnati

it would be nice if we could make the Fiesta Bowl take TCU and Boise State, but that isn't gonna happen with the Trojans as an at large. it would be cool to see the Trojans in the Sugar Bowl taking on Alabama...but that would be too much of something that people would actually want to see, so of course it won't.

It's All Over Now, Baby Blue

okay, first let's just get this outta the way...

YEEEEEAAAHAAAA!!!!! and shit. We Won! We Won! what did we win? I Don't Know!! We Won!! SEC SEC SEC SEC!!!! *does a Gator chomp even though he's an Auburn fan and hates the fucking Gators....then passes out*

I Heart You College Football.

so that's what, 5 titles in 11 seasons? 2 for Florida and LSU each plus the Vols and then you've also got Auburn's '04 season and last year's Georgia team with #2 rankings over that span as well. not a bad run, especially in a year when the conference was down and the Big 12 had taken our spot as the best league in the country.....uh yeah, how'd the Big 12 South do in their bowls again? 1-3. ok, nuff said about that subject.

secondly it's time to give Percy Harvin and Tim Tebow their giant props. they are the best duo in college football this decade this side of Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush. Harvin was easily the championship game MVP, rushing for over a hundred yards on 1 leg and being his awesome ass little self. do i think he'll be good in the pros? i have no fucking clue, does it matter? nope. he's just awesome. and as far as Tebow goes....i mean if he NEVER plays another down of college football he's already the Greatest Player In SEC History. Yeah i fucking said it. sorry Bo, DMAC, Danny Wuerffel, and yeah even you Herschel. Tebow has won 2 national titles, a Heisman Trophy, and dominates like no QB can with his running and passing ability....plus he's a fucking leader on and off the field and i'd trade away 5 years of my life for Auburn to have a guy like that behind center.

as far as the game itself last night...we didn't settle anything. the only thing we learned is that the BCS still sucks and that we need a fucking playoff, but we already knew that...so yeah, we didn't learn shit. and so as much as i think the Gators deserve the BCS title i can not in good faith vote them number 1 in my poll that matters to absolutely noone but me and has no effect on the universe at large...but hey man, gotta have some fucking principles about something. and so i'm splitting it up.

Co-Champions baby!

USC and Florida are both number 1. but hey there's still time to settle this nonsense. Urban Meyer and Pete Carrol can stick their teams on a plane and fly both teams to Greenbay and play for the True National Tile on the ultimate of neutral fields...Lambeau Field (i mean seriously who the fuck would wanna be playing a game their right now other than the Packers). Win Forever vs. SEC Speed!! on the frozen tundra. it would be Beyond Thunderdome Awesome!!!!!

.....which is of course why it will never happen.

Utah can be the people's champion, for whatever that's worth. and Texas gets to be the champion of the most overrated conference in college football but as far as National Titles...sorry dude. no way, mostly because Mack Brown has been annoying the shit out of me the last 2 months.

on a random note, is there some way we can get an Oklahoma vs. Ohio State game next year so that at least one of their fanbases can celebrate a fucking bowl win? i think they deserve it.

don't you go crying for me, Argentina.

it's okay girl. cryin' makes the hurtin' stop. so let them tears out, the sun will come up tomorrow.

okay my final pointless poll of the season.

A Lifetime Of Defeats Top 25
1. USC
1. Florida
3. Utah
4. Texas
5. Oklahoma
6. Alabama
7. Oregon
8. TCU
9. Penn State
10. Boise State
11. Ole Miss
12. Georgia
13. Texas Tech
14. Virginia Tech
15. Florida State
16. Cincinnati
17. Ohio State
18. West Virginia
19. Oregon State
20. Iowa
21. LSU
22. Missouri
23. Georgia Tech
24. Tulsa
25. VANDERBILT FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

here's my PreSeason poll to show just how clueless i am...actually it's not that bad. i had the top 2 right. but Auburn, LSU, USF, West Virginia, Mizzou, Clemson, etc... all fucked me (as well as everyone else). Bama, Penn State, Utah, and Texas were also way better than i predicted. i was right about Ole Miss though. i knew they'd break out this year. (although in fairness i didn't rank them, but i talked about it constantly.) *pats self on back*

and now the long cold winter truly begins. bye bye College Football, i'll see you in the Spring.

So Apparently There's Some Football Game On Tonight???

because i was REEEEAAALLLYYYY BORED last night and there’s nothing i watch on Wed (til LOST starts) i spent way too much time simulating this match up on NCAA 2009. the Results:

Florida won both matchups. the first time 38 to 10 and the second game 42 to 21. what does that say? probably that i should have spent that time doing something valuable with my time…like surfing the Internet for porn or cleaning up the guest room.

but in reality i think Florida has this one easy. Oklahoma has a great offense (one of the best of all time if you believe the stats) but they just don’t play much defense and i think if this bowl season has done anything it has exposed the Big 12. Best Conference in The Country my motherfucking ass. when Ole Miss whipped Texas Tech and Texas barely beat Ohio State it pretty much let me know the Gators have got this.

a quick question. who do you think is the better QB?

TEBOW

or

BRADFORD

yeah i know...juvenile as usual. it's the internet bro. this is how i do.

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

Kudos to Ohio State for showing up for this one.

first things first, a big tall glass of "shut the hell up" for Mack Brown.

we all know Texas got screwed, but listening to you bitch about it is bringing back memories of Tuberville's 2005 season-long BCS whinefest (not the man's finest hour) that had even me starting to not give a shit that Auburn was left out of the title game in 04. maybe if Brown had spent less time shilling for votes and more time game planning then Texas might have blown out the Buckeyes and he'd have a leg to stand on. but when it takes you a last second miracle to beat a team that got slaughtered by USC (who then in turn slaughtered the other team that beat Ohio State)...well you are only making a case for the Trojans claim to a split title.

secondly a big bag of dicks to choke on for you, me, and everyone we know for saying the Buckeyes didn't have a chance and that Boise State was more deserving of this at large bid.

when Texas went up by 2 scores we all said "this shit is over" but Ohio State didn't lie down and die (probably because Texas ain't in the SEC) and made one of the best comebacks i've ever seen in a BCS bowl. hell they even pulled Todd Boeckman outta their ass to exploit that weak sister of a Texas pass defense. when The Buckeyes took the lead with a little more than 2 minutes left to play even i was rooting for them. but it was for not...

...because Colt McCoy, scourge of the varmint world, would not be denied his attempt to overthrow Vince Young as the KING OF TEXAS. that final touchdown pass to Cosby was a thing of beauty and capped off the best 2nd half of a football game we've seen all season.

good job Colt.

a quick question, who do you think will be the bigger future NFL bust, McCoy or James Laurinaitis aka the Teddy Bruschi of college football (meaning overrated linebacker and king of jumping on the pile for gang tackles)? actually when i think about it long and hard Laurinaitis is the PERFECT man to replace Brushci as the Pats slowish white middle linebacker that ESPN sucks off. Make this happen New England. the Internet commands it.

in summation this bowl season has taught me a valuable lesson...the Big 12 is OVERRATED as hell. Okie State and Texas Tech both got exposed, Mizzou took a miracle to beat Northwestern, and nobody cares about the rest of the teams in that conference. hell the Pac 10 and Big 10 (ok i am lying about this one) have done way more to impress me than the No Defense 12. Florida should run Oklahoma off the damn field.

Some final LOL-ish thoughts about the Sugar Bowl

little did Coach Vader know the game was being played on Endor...

later that night John Parker Wilson's helmet was used for a drum after the Utes feasted upon his entrails.

yeah i know...36-0. but you gotta take some enjoyment somewhere.

In AUBURN NEWS

i may have been insanely pissed about Auburn hiring Gene Chizik but so far he's put together a pretty fucking awesome offensive staff. first with the Malzahn hire and then landing a great running back coach in Curtis Luper from Oklahoma State (who was lead the Big 12 in rushing the past 3 years), and now Trooper Taylor joins the team. he's a hell of a recruiter and a great receivers coach which is something we've needed these past few seasons more than anything. hopefully he can school Billings, Hawthorne, and Slaughter on the fine art of catching the football and make those 4 stars that came attached to all their names worth it. War Eagle indeed.

ALABAMA DONE PULLED AN OKLAHOMA

What in tarnation done happened?

UTAH SPEED!!!!! It kills, apparently.

After the shitty season I just endured I should probably soak up some of this Bama misery for myself and enjoy it, but taking pleasure in other peoples pain is so 2008. Besides Utah probably would have beaten Auburn by 60. That being said this was just Bama pulling one of their classic moves of getting beaten by some random ass team that half their fanbase hath never heard of before anyways. It comes along with those 37 national titles and shrines to the Bear.

But yeah I was shocked. I thought Alabama losing Andre Smith might have a slight effect on the Tide's ability to run the football and protect John Parker Wilson, but I had no idea it was gonna turn Utah's front 7 into the 2005 Auburn Tiger Iron Bowl Sack Machine. I kept wondering if Stanley McClover was secretly on the Utes d-line doing his best to turn JPW in Brodie 2. Damn! And for the non-BCS conference haters I will say to you, eat a bag of dicks. Utah is fucking good and outside of Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, & USC I think they'd take out any team in the country. But no, they didn't even get to sniff that BCS trophy...which is all the more reason we should all be screaming PLAYOFF!!! Also its time to give the Mountain West an automatics bid. They have 2 top 10 teams this year and are undefeated in their BCS bowl matchups. Just sayin'.

On another Auburn related note, how much you want to bet that if Auburn hadn't already hired Gene Chzik that Kyle Whittingham would be getting that coaching job today? Hell there probably were a lot of people saying let's go ahead anf fire Chizik now and hire this guy to come in...he can beat Saban. Regardless the good jobs are all gone but that dude is about to be rich as shit next year. Also I was a little inspired to hope that if Auburn can actuallly grasp the concept of Spread Eagle 2 then success againt the Tide may come very quickly, it sure as shit eliminated Alabama's size advantage for Utah...but then again having receiver's who can catch the ball and break tackles probably doesn't hurt either.

In summation I give major props to my Bama loving friend Mr. Bloggins who took the loss about as well as any member of the Tide nation could and it wasn't until the final John Parker sack that he shot his TV with a rifle and ran out into the night looking for a Mormon to pick a fight with. Good times.

Leach vs. Nutt, In The Batshit Crazy Bowl

vs.

it's an all SEC bowl day for you fans of College Football's Southern variety. the Sugar Bowl may be the BCS contributor, but it's the Cotton Bowl that has me the most excited. if only because it's a chance to watch to genuine nutballs in Houston Nutt and Mike Leach match "wits". ironically these were both guys rumored for the Auburn opening. Leach and his band of Pirates will bring their pass-a-palooza to Dallas and set the Rebels sorry secondary on fire for about 50 points or so, but it's likely that the Red Raiders won't bother playing a lick of defense and Ole Miss may be able to Wild Rebel up the score a bit as well. i'm think this game is gonna have one of those Playstation-esq scores of 55-45 before the dust finally settles. and then it's off the NFL for Michael Crabtree and Graham Harrell as Leach just replaces their parts and continues onward like nothing ever changes. i like the Red Raiders to win, but don't be surprised to see them get Nutted upon like so many SEC teams have in the past.

Brand New Year, same old Bullshit

oh New Year's Day, why must i always endure your wrath through blood shot eyes?

so after a couple of uninspiring early day matchups i've settled in with my hangover, bottle of blue powerade, and box of Little Ceaser's pizza to watch the annual USC asswhipping of a Big 10 opponent aka the Rose Bowl. god, where to begin? the open cheerleading for the Trojans football team from the Herbiebot and Lee Corso (who exclaimed that USC was screwed out of the national title game) is enough to embarrass even a hardcore USC fan.

that being said this game is fucking brutal. poor Joe Pa. the Trojans are murdering his team and reminding the world that they really are the most badass football team in all the land. if College Football ever does go to the playoff system i can't imagine the Trojans not winning the championship most years (unless they have to play Oregon State in the 1st round). you can chant SEC as loud as you want but the Trojans have owned our proud Southern asses this decade in head to head matchups. I'm an Auburn fan, i know.

USC should just leave the Pac 10 and become a Harlem Globetrotters-esq team traveling from town to town whipping your team's ass and winning forever, or they could just move to Detroit and take the Lions' place.

Yes Jimmy Clausen, there is a Santa Clause AKA maybe Notre Dame should join the WAC

So when the Irish decide they are finally gonna win a bowl game they really go out and whip that ass. you might as well call that the most impressive win of the Charlie Weis-era (i'm sure the boosters and trustees think 80 bazillion dollars is worth a win against a lousy Hawaii team). Jimmy Clausen had like 800 yards passing and half of his td output of the season. i still don't see a future NFL QB. regardless the longest Bowl losing streak is now officially over. Merry X-Mas Charlie, you douchebag.

so how long do the reactionary pundits at ESPN wait before they start propping Notre Dame up as a BCS contender next year? oh wait, it's already started...

Top 10 Bowl Matchups

1. BCS National Championship
Florida vs. Oklahoma

the easiest one to pick. a good matchup of explosive offenses and the "hottest" teams in the country. Texas got screwed, Auburn fans feel their pain.

2. Fiesta Bowl
Texas vs. Ohio State

there's honestly nothing more enjoyable than watching the Buckeyes get hammered in a BCS game. Texas will be looking for blood and Terrell Pryor will be their virgin sacrifice. this is also probably an early preview of next year's national title matchup...assuming the Buckeyes knock off USC next season in Columbus.

3. The Rose Bowl
USC vs. Penn State

the annual destruction of an overmatched Big 10 team at the hands of USC and then you get to hear Corso and Herbstreit tell us all how USC could beat anyone in the country and are playing the best football and blah blah blah...etc. X infinity. this could be Joe Pa's last game as well, but don't bet on that.

4. Poinsettia Bowl
Boise State vs. TCU

a battle of two of the best non-BCS conference schools in the country in the best non-BCS bowl. offense vs. defense. should be a great game. the winner of this game also gets the early start to be next season's BCS buster.

5. The Cotton Bowl
Ole Miss vs. Texas Tech

Nutt vs. Leach in the battle for who is craziest in all the land. Texas Tech should shred the Rebels but if there is one thing Nutt loves to do is beat a highly favored team and win gamblers in Vegas some cash.

6. Meineke Car Care Bowl
West Virginia vs. North Carolina

a matchup of 2 teams that i thought would be playing in January bowls at the end of the year. it's our last chance to witness the brilliant college career of my favorite non-Auburn player this decade, Pat White.

7. Holiday Bowl
Oklahoma State vs. Oregon

always entertaining. every year this game is a shootout, this should be no different. two high powered offenses vs. two suspect defenses....i'm guessing 65-60.

8. The Sugar Bowl
Alabama vs. Utah

i'll only watch it because it's the Sugar Bowl, hopefully the Utes put up more of a fight than Hawaii did against UGA last year. some experts are picking Utah in the upset...and those experts would be the retards known as Corso and Herbiebot.

9. Capital One Bowl
Georgia vs. Michigan State

a chance for Dawgs fans to say goodbye to Stafford and Moreno and a chance for an Auburn fan like me to say good riddance so that they can't beat us anymore.

10. Chick-fil-A Bowl
Georgia Tech vs. LSU

why can't they still call this game the Peach Bowl? seriously. anyways this will be a fun game if you hate LSU and love watching teams rush for 500 yards in one game. i imagine the Jackets rolling the Tigers and getting several pick sixes for good measure.

BCS National Title Drinking Game

1. everytime "SEC speed" is brought up take a shot. (you'll be dead by halftime)
2. everytime Glenn Dorsey's chop block injury is brought up drink a beer.
3. everytime Ohio State's shitty schedule is brought up take a shot.
4. everytime they talk about James Laurinaitis' dad being a pro wrestler drink a PBR.
5. everytime Ohio State gets picked off do a dance and drink a beer.
6. everytime Jacob Hester picks up a 1st down on a crucial play take a shot.
7. everytime you wanna ram hot pokers into your ear drums to make the horrible sounds of the Fox announcers go away take a shot.
8. if the Ohio State Buckeyes should somehow win and crush your SEC loving spirit you should drink a bottle of Wild Turkey and burn a car in honor of the Big 10.

Did You Watch The Orange Bowl?

apparently not many people did. i sure as hell didn't. i got better things to do like watch some show about Super Models and shit. i mean that's exciting for Kansas fans that they're team finished 12-1 and actually beat a halfway descent/crappy ACC team in Virginia Tech (sorry Hokies, your sympathy meter ran out when the new year rolled over), but seriously been the least interesting BCS match up since Utah played Pitt back in 2004. i watched the highlights this morning on the ol' World Wide Leader and looks to me like this was a pretty ugly game...unless you like interceptions allot. i never thought i'd say this, but i'm ready for this fucking college football season to be over. all this waiting around a week for the National title game after the new year's bowls is totally fucking bullshit.

Some Random Thoughts About the New Year's Bowls

watching the Sugar Bowl was more like watching a snuff film than a football game. it wasn't even fun after about the end of the 1st quarter. Mark Richt showed his true FSU colors by going for it on 4th down during the 4th quarter in a route. Colt Brennan got his brains knocked out, as well as his draft stock knocked down. and the Fox commentators pretty much made it sound like Hawaii were some nice elves from a magic land who had come to bring us all love and cookies and the run and gun, and instead they were brutally attacked and raped by the savage manbeasts of UGA. Knowshon continues to dance. if you ask a Georgia fan they'll tell you he's better than Darren McFadden and he's winning the Heisman next year. i fucking hate Georgia. black jerseys are totally gay.

Joe McKnight is fucking sick. after emerging from the 10 player backfield he'd been part of all year, he exploded for 2006 all purpose yards in the Rose Bowl. i don't know if he's the next Reggie Bush, but he might just be the best freshman runningback in one of the best freshman classes in years. Georgia looked impressive against an over matched Hawaii, but USC looked downright unstoppable against Illinois. they coulda hung 100 on the Zookers if they'd wanted to. a UGA vs USC Rose Bowl really would have been a much better matchup. fuck the Rose Bowl in it's ass for following the Big 10 vs Pac 10 tradition.

other thoughts
-i totally expected Arkansas to lose their matchup with Missouri, but i didn't expect them to get completely demolished. forget all the negative things i said about Mizzou. those kids can play.
-Florida went and fucked up and SEC's bragging rights by losing to Michigan's lousy ass. at the end of the day Florida really aren't as good as everyone thinks they are. their best wins this season were against FSU, Tennessee, and Kentucky. they don't play any fucking defense, and if you can stop Tebow then you can pretty much beat them. they'll go into next season as a top 5 team...but i'm not so sure they deserve it.
-Tennessee beat Wisconsin in the most boring of bowl games. who watched this shit besides fans of those two schools?

WEST FUCKING VIRGINIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh Shit! Bob Stoops, you can't win a BCS game to save your life. West Fucking Virginia (aka my favorite team to play as on NCAA Football 2008) just straight thugged it's way past the always underachieving Oklahoma Sooners. let's just go ahead and take them out of the 2008 National Title discussion because we ALL know that they're gonna lose some inexplicable games next season, not to mention get spanked and/or embarrassed in their fucking bowl game next year. but seriously you gotta feel good for those kids in West Virginia. they've got the BCS title game in their grasp and then lose to a SHITTY Pitt team, then their coach bolts for the BIG HOUSE...which leads to much ugliness (lawsuits, crying, lawsuits). Everyone had them written off. and how do they respond? they don't just beat the Sooners, they straight fucking kicked their motherfucking ass! wow, i think Noel Devine just scored another 60 yard touchdown. i sure as shit am not looking forward to Auburn playing these guys next year.
