as for the Raiders...i used to consider them my favorite team outside of the Atlanta Falcons, and it's just like watching a car crash whenever i see a Raiders game. they FUCKING HAD IT and then play stupid prevent defense (the chorus screams, "the only thing a prevent defense does is prevent your ass from winning a game!") and lose to Douchebag Rivers and the Paper Champion Chargers. i hope DMac gets outta there in one piece so he can go be a superstar somewhere else someday.

hey remember that random excitement i had for Braves baseball with the news that Ken Griffey Jr. was coming to town? yeah well fuck it! it isn't happening.

Can the Braves just fire Frank Wren right now? i mean honestly losing out on Griffey to his first team the Mariners isn't really that upsetting, but when Atlanta has done virtually NOTHING to improve possibly the WORST FUCKING OUTFIELD in baseball and they've been turned down by nearly every single free agent that they've gone after...well it's just enough to make me lose my fucking mind. good thing i don't care about baseball anymore.

and as far as Griffey going back to Seatle...dude? that's like gettin back together with your girlfriend from highschool at 30...it's just sad. she's not as cute as you remember and she likes Grey's Anatomy and you are totally an It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia kind of guy. plus she still sucks at doin' it...just sayin'.

The Auburn 2008 "Quest For Never Ending Suck" Rolls Onwards To Oblivian

i have dubbed this season the QUEST FOR NEVER ENDING SUCK. and after getting Nutted upon by an Ole Miss team that really was trying to give Auburn every chance they could all game long to win....and still managing to lose i think the title has become well earned.

i look back now on the puntastic victories over Mississippi State and Tennessee with some longing for the good ole days. at this point Auburn is almost assuredly going 5-7 barring some kind of miracle. but i also realized during the ass whipping last week to West Virginia that i don't even care anymore so as i watched Kodi Burns toss drive killing pick after pick i never got angry. i never screamed or yelled. i never even got that annoyed. mostly i just laughed or shook my head and smiled because this Auburn team is NOT gonna be the death of me. i can accept a losing season and not dip into the darkest regions of depression. it's okay. i can just watch the Falcons and play my Dynasty Mode on NCAA 2009 and pretend Auburn's Spread Eagle offense was a smashing success. it's all good. nothings wrong.

but seriously, this fucking sucks. i'm tired of this bullshit and it saddens me to think that i'll be at the homecoming game next weekend watching what might very well be Tommy Tuberville's final win as the headcoach of the Auburn Tigers. and so it goes.

Where's the reset button on this game?
