Braves Baseball, Am I Falling In Love With You Again?

excuse the racist imagery...it's still my fav Braves logo...it conflicts with my liberal leanings, then again so does my love of Charles Bronson movies.

anyways i am pumped as hell for the baseball season for the first time in like a decade. i am giving the credit to Jason Heyward.

Jason Heyward went back in time and faced Sandy Koufax. He went 3 for 5 with two bombs, a single, a walk, and 3 stolen bases

so you have a healthy respect for vigilante justice and a strong adverse reaction to the phony PC speech codes that somehow make "braves" into some kind of bad word. That is established

However, I gather you see the folly of the drug war and the other wars and are totally not down with legislated morality. You don't know how to categorize yourself and feel confused? You sir should consider reading Rothbards "For a New Liberty" you are likely more libertarian than socialists. Do you really think it makes sense that the government(which is run by corruptible people) is going to protect the little guy? look at the trillion dollar bailouts. The governemnt is run by the powerful, they merely use socialist cover to do their dirty work...see the democrat massess all happy to be in a couple wars now the a guy with a "D" on his chest is in charge? stop being so naive.

I haven't followed Braves baseball seriously for probably a decade, but Heyward just might get me to buy in. Holy crap, that guy is a monster and a half ... frankly, the kind of guy who's been ignoring baseball in favor of football/hoops in the U.S. for the last 20 years or so.

Bobby's last year at the helm. Let's see if the Bravos can make it back to the postseason.

Gabe, have you read anything on this blog before? This place, where I came to LMAO after the terrible UGA loss and feel better (thanx JR) is no place to spew pol garbage.
