so a good question, what is the more desirable job to a big time coach...Notre Dame (when they shit can fat Charlie) or Tennessee?

notre dame, without a doubt. MUCH more prestige nationally, and you don't have to play an SEC regular season. plus you don't have to wear orange.
while in theory this may be true i think the last 20 years (yeah that's how long it's been since Notre Dame has won a title) has proven that you can not win at Notre Dame anymore. kids wanna play at warm weather schools and with ESPN showing football all the time on several channels EVERYONE is on TV nowadays. Notre Dame is just livin' off the past. regardless i agree that wearing Orange is a major drawback and i'd probably coach at Notre Dame over Tennessee too.
