It happened. John Madden actually retired. a life without BOOM! in the NFL starts today. and i was so looking forward to seeing John Madden have to talk about something else besides Brett Favre. i can only assume that NBC will replace him with Chris Collinsworth thereby making their Sunday Night Football In America or whatever the fuck it's called 250% better. i assume i'll still be haunted be Madden's pointless drivel in video game form until he eventually shuffles off this mortal coil.
now if only Chris Berman would take his lead.
