Back in 2006 I could've cared less about the WBC...I mean the USA team was full of douchebags like Clemens and A.Rod, but for whatever reason I really like the team they've put together this time. Jimmy Rollins, Chipper, Jeter, McCann, Adam Dunn, Ryan Brauhn...just a bunch of good players. No divas, no douchebags. Sure I could do without all the damn Redsox but all in all I can't comlpain about the squad.
It doesn't hurt that the USA's first two games have been really exciting matchups against America's hat Canada and those commie bastards of Venezuela. So yeah, maybe I'll actually watch some of this horseshit.
